Winter Volunteer Trainings begin January 16 and January 29

Would you or someone you know like to help a child or adult improve their reading and writing? Midcoast Literacy is holding tutor trainings in January for both tutors to work with adults (Jan 16, 17, 18) and tutors to work with children (Jan 29, 31, and Feb 2).

“The past year has seen our one-on-one tutoring programs expand to reach more community members of all kinds" says Daniel Burson, Midcoast Literacy Executive Director. "We are looking for more volunteers from the community to step forward to give their time, energy, and goodwill to improving literacy so we can keep serving those who need help.”
