Each year, Midcoast Literacy shares key statistics in the form of our Annual Report Card, summarizing our work in the community. Here is our 2025 Annual Report Card for programming from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.
Adult Literacy Services
Adult Learners
worked one-on-one with tutors to improve their literacy
Volunteer Tutors
gave 5,714 hours of service valued at $183,591.
Learners
attended English classes through our Workplace Literacy program.
Family Literacy Services
Children
participated in our Read With Me, Read Together, and Summer Books programs.
Summer Books
was held at 11 sites,
served 313 kids, and
gave out 802 books.
Read Together Volunteers
tutored 62 kids, giving 4,848 hours of service valued at $155,767.
