Ways to Give

Make a Difference by Improving Lives Through Literacy

We help over 500 people in our community every year to develop their literacy skills and raise their aspirations. Your donation will provide new books for low-income children; tutoring supplies for adults and youth; training for new volunteer tutors; books and workbooks for our lending library; and so much more.

Or mail your donation to Midcoast Literacy, 9 Park Street; Suite 1, Bath, ME 04530.

One-Time Gift

A one-time gift of any size can be put to immediate use supporting our volunteers and program staff.

Monthly Gift

A monthly recurring donation provides dependable income for our organization and helps us plan for the future.

Major Gift Society

A leadership gift of $1,000 or more makes a lasting difference in our ability to reach more children and adults.

For more information about other ways to support Midcoast Literacy through a Donor Advised Fund, Legacy Gift, In-Kind Contribution, or Stock Transfer, please contact Daniel at d.burson@midcoastliteracy.org. Thank you!

Every Gift Makes a Difference

“Our two sons both go to tutoring and it is making a real difference. Your program is something my husband and I are both very grateful for having access to. We certainly wouldn’t be able to afford to pay for tutoring otherwise.”
