Author-to-Author: Monica Wood & Lewis Robinson

Midcoast Literacy’s spring Author-to-Author event on May 2nd features Maine authors Monica Wood and Lewis Robinson in conversation about writing craft and the power of words.

Join us on Saturday, May 2, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick (1 Middle Street) for an evening with two award-winning writers. Novelist and playwright Monica Wood (author of How To Read a Book, When We Were the Kennedys, and the play Papermaker) and novelist Lewis Robinson (author of The Islanders and Officer Friendly) will share the stage, reading from their work and in conversation about their inspirations and writing craft. A reception and book signing with the authors will follow.

All proceeds from tickets to this special Author-to-Author evening will support Midcoast Literacy’s free literacy programs for people of all ages, including both native English speakers and the growing number of multilingual families in the area.
