Train to become a volunteer tutor in our Read Together program working with students ages 6-14. No prior tutoring or teaching experience is necessary. If you or someone you know can give two hours a week to help a child read better, you can truly make a difference in your community. Pre-registration and participation in all three days of the training is required. Volunteer tutors must be at least 18 years old and make an initial commitment to tutor twice a week for 12 months (with occasional breaks for vacations or holidays). Once a new volunteer completes the three-day training led by our Program Director, they are then matched with a child from the local community.

The training will occur:

• May 4, 2026 from 9am to 1pm
• May 6, 2026 from 9am to 1pm
• May 8, 2026 from 9am to 1pm
• Participation in all three days of the training is required.
