Readers Theater
Introducing kids and adults to new stories through fun, live performances of books read by local actors
Readers Theater is a style of live performance that blends the reading aloud of a book with theatrical elements. The cast of actors simultaneously narrates the story and brings added life to the characters through voice, expression, and movement. Midcoast Literacy Readers Theater performances are our way of sharing a love of reading and great stories in a unique format with groups of kids and adults.
