Midcoast Literacy is nonprofit based in Bath that helps people of all ages improve their lives through literacy in Lincoln, Sagadahoc and northern Cumberland counties. Our tutors work one-on-one with a wide range of adults including both English language learners and native English-speaking individuals who struggle with reading and writing. Volunteer tutors commit to working one or more times a week, for an hour, for a minimum of one year with their students. Volunteers are expected to be respectful,
organized, dependable, kind, patient, and flexible.
