Join our next English Language Tutor Training. A 3-day training to prepare tutors to work with English language learners, both new arrivals in Maine and individuals who have been here for some time but need support with reading, writing, and speaking. No prior tutoring or teaching experience is necessary. Pre-registration and participation in all three days of the training is required. Volunteer tutors must be at least 18 years old and make an initial commitment to tutor at least once a week for 12 months (with occasional breaks for vacations or holidays).

The training will occur:

• April 7, 2026, from 9am to 2pm
• April 8, 2026, from 9am to 2pm
• April 9, 2026, from 9am to 2pm
